Steve is a member of the Firm’s International Business Group, providing his clients with practical advice and guidance on all manner of import, export control and other trade compliance-related matters, including advice relating to the recently enacted Section 232 (steel and aluminum) and Section 301 (China) tariffs. Prior to re-joining Cohen & Grigsby, he served as Corporate Counsel and Director of International Trade Compliance for II-VI Incorporated, where he oversaw a corporate trade compliance department for a publicly traded engineered materials and laser technology company with 9,000 employees operating in 14 countries.
