Kevin’s experience, developed over nearly 25 years of practicing law, focuses on product liability, commercial cases, probate matters, and arbitrations. He is a Director and a member of the Litigation and Product Liability Litigation Groups.

Kevin has argued cases in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and Common Pleas Courts in all counties of Western Pennsylvania.

He has won defense verdicts in products liability jury trials in the Court of Common Pleas, and has won injunctions for commercial clients. In particular, he won a judgment of more than $2 million against a Spanish corporation and achieved a reversal of $2 million in punitive damage awards against restaurant owners.

He has defended an investment firm in a jury trial involving claims of unsuitability of limited partnership investments, and represented employers in wrongful termination cases involving allegations of race and gender discrimination.

Kevin obtained class action experience defending products and discrimination lawsuits. He has also represented clients at American Arbitration Association and National Association of Securities Dealers arbitration proceedings, during commercial mediations, and in Equal Employment Opportunity Commission enforcement actions.

Kevin has participated since 1995 in the Protection from Abuse Pro Bono Program, which helps victims of domestic violence obtain legal protection from their abusers.

In addition, he is an adjunct professor of trial advocacy at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and has taught classes in “Legal Writing and Case Analysis” at the Duquesne University Paralegal Institute.

Kevin’s involvement in professional organizations includes being a member of the Litigation Section for the Allegheny County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

Kevin is a member of Geneva Group International (GGI).
