Kerrin has been practicing law for 15 years and focuses on professional malpractice defense and securities fraud defense. She is a member of the Litigation and Securities Litigation Groups.

Kerrin has extensive experience in defending accounting firms in financial statements and professional negligence litigation; securities litigation/class action; and defense of brokerage firms in customer complaint cases.

She served as Chair of the Cohen & Grigsby Recruiting and Associate Development Committee from 2003 until 2008 and as Deputy Head of the Litigation Practice Group from 2007 until 2008.

Prior to joining Cohen & Grigsby, Kerrin was a law clerk for the Honorable Deborah K. Chasanow in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, and a law clerk for The Honorable Irma S. Raker (retired) of Maryland’s highest court, the Maryland Court of Appeals.

Kerrin is a member of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Allegheny County Bar Association. She has chaired Cohen & Grigsby’s United Way campaign for several years, has served as a board member for KidsVoice, and has served on an Audit Committee for Family Lifeline. She has also been involved with SPCA events and various other civic organizations and events.

She is also admitted to practice in various federal courts, including the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the United States District Courts for the Districts of Maryland, Eastern Michigan and Western Pennsylvania.
