Kelley has spent her legal career handling complex civil litigation in court, on appeal, and at the administrative agency level. She concentrates her practice in commercial and business litigation, construction and real estate litigation, employment litigation, and trusts & estates litigation. Kelley has represented individuals, corporate clients, and developers in a wide variety of matters, including shareholder/partnership disputes, business torts, construction law, real estate litigation, insurance litigation, and employment law representing employers exclusively. In her employment litigation practice, Kelley represents employers in litigation and dispute resolution at the administrative agency level and in court, and often counsels clients on day to day employment-related issues. In her firm, Kelley is a member of the Shareholders’ Council and other key committees focused on management, leadership and advancement within Cohen & Grigsby.

Kelley is an “AV” rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, maintaining the highest attainable rating for professional excellence and ethics for most of her career. She has consistently been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Commercial Litigation, Construction Litigation and Labor & Employment since 2010, and in 2015 was named The Best Lawyers in America’s Construction-Litigation Lawyer of the Year for the Fort Myers, FL area. Kelley has also been recognized as a Florida “Super Lawyer” in business litigation.

As a practicing attorney with over 25 years of experience, Kelley has litigated extensively in state and federal courts, handling matters across a broad spectrum of industries, including construction, banking, health care, manufacturing, broadcasting & media, real estate, insurance, and securities. Her clients include public and private corporations, high net-worth individuals, and family businesses.  Kelley takes pride in her client relationships, many of which have spanned decades.  She works closely with her clients and their businesses, not only in litigation, but in providing practical and meaningful advice and counseling on a wide variety of business, construction, and employment related issues.

Kelley is a Director of the firm, and a member of the Litigation, Employment Litigation, Appellate Litigation, Construction, and Shareholder & Partnership Disputes Practice Groups. She is a past member of the Shareholder’s Council, and a current member of the Evaluations Panel, the E-Discovery Committee, and the Leadership and Advancement of Women Committee.  Prior to joining Cohen & Grigsby in 2003, Kelley was a Partner at Cummings & Lockwood, LLC in Naples, Florida.

Kelley has participated in a long list of professional and legal organizations, including the Collier County Bar Association, the Thomas S.     Noted for her long dedication to pro-bono and community service, the Collier County Women’s Bar Association honored Kelley with its annual “Woman Lawyer of the Year” award for 2013.  Kelley has been actively involved with the Legal Aid Service of Collier County for many years, helping to found the Collier’s Lawyers Care Program for volunteer lawyers, the Foreclosure Task Force, and the “Wills for Heroes” Program.  She also is a long-time member of the Board of Directors for the Naples Players and has held a number of leadership roles in various legal organizations over the course of her career.
