Cohen & Grigsby Presents “The Art of Law” Exhibit Featuring Works Created by Children and Grandchildren of Firm’s Employees

PITTSBURGH – May 14, 2015 – Business law firm Cohen & Grigsby has created a special opportunity for the children and grandchildren of the firm’s employees to express what family and the law mean to them through a new art exhibit at C&G Gallery, located in its headquarters at EQT Plaza, 625 Liberty Avenue. Titled “The Art of Law,” the exhibit features over 75 pieces of art including paintings, crafts, sculptures, photography and poetry created by employees and family members.

“We’re excited to open our latest exhibit at C&G Gallery which gives our employees’ families the chance to showcase their talents and explore the themes of family, law and charitable work,” said Jack Elliott, president and CEO of Cohen & Grigsby. “The exhibit is designed to examine how our ‘Culture of Performance®’ extends to our employees’ lives outside of the office and into their homes with their families. It was inspired by Helen Ward, a bankruptcy associate and member of our business services group.”

“I thought it would be a great opportunity for all of us to connect on a more personal level and spark conversation about how the law intersects with art and our everyday lives among colleagues, friends and families,” Ms. Ward added.

The Art of Law exhibit opens on Saturday, May 16 with a special family day at the C&G Gallery where members of the firm can view the children’s works and participate in art workshops. The exhibit is the first in a series of future events that Cohen & Grigsby is planning to more readily engage with the firm’s employees and clients.

The public will have an opportunity to view The Art of Law exhibit following the opening reception on May 16. To make an appointment, please call 412-297-4900.
