Cohen & Grigsby Attorney Elected to Lead YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh’s Board of Directors

Robert B. Cottington Will Serve as Chairman

PITTSBURGH, PA – May 27, 2011 – Cohen & Grigsby, a business law firm with headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pa. and an office in Bonita Springs, Fla., is pleased to announce that attorney Robert B. Cottington was elected chairman of the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh’s board of directors. Cottington is a director in the firm’s Employment Litigation and Labor & Employment Groups.

Cottington has been active in community and professional organizations throughout his career, previously serving as vice chairman of the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh; a member of the Pastoral Council of St. Killian Roman Catholic Church in Mars, Pennsylvania; a member of the board of directors for Combined Health Appeal of Western Pennsylvania; and chairman of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association. Cottington’s 20-plus years of practice has focused on representing public and private employers in collective bargaining, labor arbitrations, mediation, unfair labor practice proceedings, and federal and state court litigation involving a wide array of employment law claims.
