J-1 Waivers and Other Immigration Issues for Foreign National Physicians

September 28, 2005
Foreign national physicians face unique and critically important immigration issues which impact both themselves and their prospective U.S. employers.  Can a waiver of the two year foreign residence requirement be secured?  If so, how?  Can the physician then obtain H-1B status?  Are O-1 visas really available?  How about permanent residence?  We will provide practical answers to these – and other – questions during our program.
