Cohen & Grigsby Appoints New Officers

PITTSBURGH, PA - Cohen & Grigsby, P.C. is pleased to announce that Andrew M. Roman has been appointed Executive Vice President and Mark R. Stabile has been appointed Vice President of Technology.

Andrew M. Roman is a litigator with more than 20 years of experience in insurance coverage and insurance law matters.  He represents insureds exclusively and has been counsel to them in several precedent-setting court decisions.  He also represents clients in other areas of commercial litigation.  Andy earned his B.A. from Bucknell University in 1973 and his J.D. (cum laude; Editor-in-Chief, Duquesne Law Review) from Duquesne University in 1976.  He serves as an adjunct professor at the Duquesne University School of Law, teaching Environmental Law and Toxic Torts.  He is a member of the Allegheny County, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations.  Mr. Roman resides in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania.

Mark R. Stabile is a business lawyer who represents clients in business formation and capitalization and in negotiating, structuring and documenting business combinations and financings.  He provides advice to companies providing or seeking venture capital investment, whether for start-up, expansion, recapitalization or leveraged acquisitions.  Mr. Stabile also advises clients involved in electronic commerce and in providing products or services over or relating to the Internet.  He also represents landlords, tenants, developers and other businesses in acquiring, selling, leasing, financing and developing commercial, retail, office and industrial real estate.  Mark earned his B.A. (summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from Georgetown University in 1988 and his J.D. (magna cum laude; Order of the Coif; Associate Editor, Georgetown Law Journal) from Georgetown University in 1991.  He has been selected by The Legal Intelligencer and Pennsylvania Law Weekly as one of “50 On The Fast Track,” a group of 50 attorneys under the age of 40 recognized for what they have achieved in their careers and for the potential they show to be leaders of the Pennsylvania bar in the future.  Mark is a member of the Finance Committee of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Pittsburgh Venture Capital Association, and the Association for Corporate Growth.  Mr. Stabile resides in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
