Cohen & Grigsby Adds Two Attorneys

PITTSBURGH, PA - Cohen & Grigsby, P.C. announces the addition of two attorneys to the Firm.

Teresa S. Lin joins the Business Group and International Business Group as an Associate. She concentrates her practice in the areas of securities, general corporate matters, and mergers and acquisitions. Teresa earned her B.A. in Urban Studies/Public Policy from Stanford University in 1995 and her J.D. (Associate Editor, Journal of International Economic Law; Edward V. Sparer Public Interest Fellowship, Summer 1999) from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2001. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. Prior to joining Cohen & Grigsby, Ms. Lin was an associate with the law firm of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP in Philadelphia. She resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Karen McMillan Stemland joins the Litigation Group as an Associate. She concentrates her practice in the area of general commercial litigation matters. Karen earned her B.A. in Political Science (magna cum laude, Honors in Political Science, Colgate Political Union, Colgate’s Political Honor Society, Dean’s List, Pi Sigma Alpha, National Political Honor Society) from Colgate University in 1997 and her J.D. (cum laude; Dean’s List; Senior Notes Editor, Georgetown International Environmental Law Review) from the Georgetown University Law Center in 2001. She is admitted to the bars of Virginia and the District of Columbia. Prior to joining Cohen & Grigsby, Ms. Stemland was an associate with the law firm of Jenkens & Gilchrist in Washington, D.C. She resides in the Mt. Washington area of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
