Cohen & Grigsby Adds Four Attorneys April 24, 2002Sarah C. Gage joins the Firm as an Associate. Ms. Gage received her B.A. (cum laude, Notre Dame Scholar, Phi Alpha Theta) from the University of Notre Dame in 1997 and her J.D. (H. Claude Horack Law Scholar) from the Duke University School of Law in 2001. Ms. Gage is also a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army Reserves.
Mark A. May joins the Litigation Group as an Associate. He concentrates his practice in the areas of general commercial litigation, intellectual property involving non-compete agreements, contract disputes, and employment contract matters. Mr. May received his B.A. from Pennsylvania State University in 1985 and his J.D. (cum laude; Order of Coif; Senior and Associate Editor, Law Review) from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1998. Prior to joining Cohen & Grigsby, Mr. May was an associate at the Pittsburgh-based law firm of Kirkpatrick & Lockhart.
Arthur C. Sandel joins the Firm as an Associate. Mr. Sandel received his B.S.F.S. (Certificate in European Studies, Dean’s List) from Georgetown University in 1996, his M.P.I.A. (Certificate in International Security Studies, Faculty Award) from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs in 2001, and his J.D. (cum laude, Certificate in International and Comparative Law; Semester Honors; Law Review, Senior Managing Editor), University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2001. Mr. Sandel is proficient in Polish.
Matthew F. Schwartz joins the Estates and Trusts Group as an Associate. He concentrates his practice in the areas of estate and trust planning, administration, estate and gift taxation issues. Mr. Schwartz received his B.A. in Economics and Mathematical Methods (Mathematical Methods Departmental Honors) from Northwestern University in 1994 and his J.D. (Historian, Phi Delta Phi) from Washington University School of Law in 1997. Prior to joining Cohen & Grigsby, Mr. Schwartz was an associate at the Pittsburgh based law firm of Thorp Reed & Armstrong.
