John (“Jay”) Finley Hammond joins the Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights Group and Litigation Group as an Associate. He concentrates his practice in the areas of bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, general commercial litigation and corporate transactions. Jay earned his A.B. in History and Literature (cum laude) from Harvard College in 1994, his M.St. from Oxford University in 1996 and his J.D. (cum laude) from Cornell Law School in 2000. He is admitted to the bars of Massachusetts and the District of Columbia. Prior to joining Cohen & Grigsby, Mr. Hammond was a project consultant with the Pennsylvania Environmental Council in Pittsburgh, PA and prior to that was an associate with Bingham McCutchen LLP (formerly Bingham Dana LLP) in Washington, D.C. and Boston, MA. He resides in Fox Chapel, Pennsylvania. |
