Cohen & Grigsby to Feature Works from Associated Artists of Pittsburgh in Firm’s New Gallery Exhibition November 2009Cohen & Grigsby, a

Bonita Springs, FL, has unveiled the latest art exhibition to be featured in the
C&G Gallery, located in the firm’s Pittsburgh headquarters (EQT Plaza, 625
Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA). Titled
“ANTHOLOGY,” the exhibit includes the work of eight well-known local artists
affiliated with the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh:
- Tina Brewer (story quilts/African American
theme)
- Ron Donoughe (landscapes and city-scapes)
- Bud
Gibbons (large realistic paintings)
- Jane Haskell (oil on canvas)
- George Kollar (photography/nature and architectural
images)
- Ron
Nigro (assemblage/sculptures)
- Richard Stoner (photography)
- Kathleen
Zimbicki (watercolors)
“When
Cohen & Grigsby re-established its Pittsburgh
headquarters in the Cultural District in 2008, we made a commitment to support
arts and culture in our region,” said Jack Elliot, president and CEO of Cohen
& Grigbsy. “We firmly believe that a
robust Cultural District will ultimately contribute to the overall growth and
vitality of the region. We are proud to
support that endeavor by making the C&G Gallery a vibrant showcase for regional
artists to display their brilliant mixed-media works.”
As
part of the firm’s dedication to promoting arts and culture in the region,
Cohen & Grigsby has forged a partnership with the Pittsburgh Cultural
Trust. In 2009, the firm entered its
second year as the presenting sponsor of the “Trust Presents” series, which
brings a diverse array of entertainment to
Pittsburgh’s Cultural District.
