Alexa Forte Joins Cohen & Grigsby’s Immigration Practice Group

Cohen & Grigsby is pleased to announce that attorney Alexa Forte has joined the firm as director in the Immigration Practice Group. Ms. Forte has exclusively practiced immigration law for more than 18 years, managing compliance projects and consular processing for multinational corporations.

“Through extensive experience with a broad base of corporate immigration clients, Alexa adds to an already deep knowledge base in our Immigration Practice Group,” said Jack Elliott, president and CEO of Cohen & Grigsby. “With her background and years of experience, she will add great value to our already strong client-service team of immigration attorneys.”

Prior to joining Cohen & Grigsby, Ms. Forte was with Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy LLP in Chicago. She was previously a partner at Mandel, Lipton & Stevenson Limited in Chicago, and a founding partner at BTI International Law Offices in Portland, OR. Ms. Forte earned her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Madison, and her B.A. from Emory University.
