Cohen & Grigsby is pleased to announce that attorney Lisa Pitell has joined the firm as an associate in the International Business Practice Group.  Ms. Pitell joins the firm with a wealth of experience as a skilled negotiator in the international commercial agreements arena. 

“With her extensive background in analyzing global transactions for compliance with U.S. laws for business activities in the European Union, Latin America, Canada, and Asia Pacific and negotiating terms of multinational business contracts, Lisa is a welcome addition to our growing International Business Practice Group,” said Jack Elliott, president and CEO of Cohen & Grigsby. 

Prior to joining Cohen & Grigsby, Ms. Pitell was an enterprise negotiations manager at SAS Institute Inc.  She previously served as in-house counsel and export compliance manager at ANSYS Inc., and as senior contracts manager and negotiator at Legent Corporation.  Ms. Pitell earned her J.D. from the Duquesne University School of Law, and her B.A. from Dickinson College.
