Cohen & Grigsby Elects New Directors

 PITTSBURGH, PA - December 19 - Cohen & Grigsby P.C. is pleased to announce the addition of Mark A. May, Dean M. Naccarato and Barbara A. Scheib who were recently elected as Directors at the firm’s Pittsburgh office.

Mark A. May concentrates his practice in the areas of general commercial litigation and insurance coverage, including contract disputes and business interruption claims.  Mark earned his J.D. (cum laude; Associate Editor, Law Review; Order of the Coif) from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1998 and his B.A. from Pennsylvania State University in 1985.  He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.  He is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.  Mark resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Dean M. Naccarato concentrates his practice in the areas of taxation, mergers and acquisitions and international business.  His focus areas include federal, state and local tax issues for public and private companies; corporate, partnership and international tax planning issues; transactional tax issues; tax planning for high net worth individuals; and general corporate law.  Dean earned his LL.M. in taxation from New York University School of Law in 1997, his J.D. (cum laude) from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1996 and his B.A. (cum laude) from Allegheny College in 1993.  He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (Taxation Section), the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Association for Growth and the Allegheny Tax Society.  Dean resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Barbara A. Scheib devotes her practice to general and complex commercial litigation, including contract disputes, trade secret matters and commercial tort claims.  She has represented clients in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, media, financial services, software and health care.  Barbara earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1998 and her B.A. from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1985.  She is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the District of Colorado.  She is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Alumni Advisory Board, Indiana University of Pennsylvania Journalism Department.  Barbara resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
