Lisa is a Director in the Employment Litigation and Labor and Employment Groups. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and Florida and serves clients out of the firm’s Pittsburgh and Florida offices.
Lisa has represented clients in a broad cross section of industries, including financial institutions, health care, nonprofit agencies, manufacturing companies, construction companies, retail and service establishments, real estate developers, law firms, private schools, trade schools, colleges and universities and public housing authorities.
She focuses on defense of employment claims before administrative agencies and courts; Americans with Disabilities Act and Family and Medical Leave Act compliance and counseling; drafting employee handbooks and policies; implementing drug and alcohol-testing programs under state and federal law; counseling regarding severance agreements and group reductions in force, compliance training for employees and supervisors; unemployment compensation counseling; drafting employment and independent contractor agreements; wage and hour compliance counseling; and counseling on hiring, disciplining and discharging employees.

Lisa also currently serves as Secretary for the Pennsylvania Chapter of the ACHCA.
She previously served as a member of the American Inns of Court and the Seven Fields Borough Parks and Recreation Committee.
She presented "Practical Tips for Avoiding Common Mistakes in the Employee Hiring, Discipline and Discharge Process" at the Pennsylvania Council of Children, Youth and Family Services’ Annual Spring Conference in Harrisburg, Pa.in 2008. She discussed "Avoiding Common Employment Records Retention Mistakes: What to Keep and Where and How to Keep Them" at the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources in Pittsburgh in 2008.
Lisa also was a featured speaker at numerous events in 2007. She presented "Identifying FMLA Risks and Minimizing Liability" to the Butler HR Association, "FMLA and ADA Issues" to the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and "Planning for an Avian Flu Pandemic" to the Florida Assisted Living Association.
She has also written many articles on subjects related to the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, camera cell phones in the workplace, and preparing for a pandemic. In 2006, she co-authored "The Avian Flu: Is Your Workplace Ready for an Outbreak?" in Dynamic Business and "Update on DOL’s Regulations for Employee Exemption" in Nursing Home Magazine.
