Fred counsels and represents clients in a wide variety of commercial litigation matters, including corporate governance, shareholder and partnership disputes, unfair trade practices, contractual disputes, trade secret misappropriation and business valuation.  He has appeared in state and federal courts and has engaged in all levels of general litigation practice, including depositions, discovery, motions, trial preparation and trial.

Fred joined Cohen & Grigsby in 2008.  He serves on the firm’s Recruiting Committee and is a member of the American Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

While attending the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Fred was a research assistant for Professor Thomas Buchele and the Lead Executive Editor of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review.  In 2006, he was also a legal extern in the United States Attorney’s Office for the  Western District of Pennsylvania.

Prior to attending law school, Fred worked in numerous business roles, garnering experience in sales, management, marketing and supply chain logistics.  

Fred is bilingual in English and Russian.
