Mr. Peters' practice is focused on representing private equity funds in complex leveraged buyout, mezzanine lending and recapitalization transactions. His experience includes structuring and negotiating all aspects of such transactions, including the underlying acquisition, senior and mezzanine financing, equity co-investments and management employment and investment terms. Mr. Peters has served as general counsel for portfolio companies, and has experience in workouts involving troubled portfolio companies. He also serves as counsel to fund principals in connection with fund formation and ongoing fund management issues.
In addition to his work for private equity funds, Mr. Peters represents clients in a wide range of transactions, including business formation and capitalization, debt and equity financings, acquisitions and dispositions, contract negotiations and complex real estate and equipment leases.
