For over 25 years, Mr. Hoehler's practice has focused on general corporate, finance and real estate matters, with a concentration in the representation of clients in the energy industry.  In addition to energy law, Mr. Hoehler's practice includes municipal law (Solicitor for the City of Greensburg), and land use matters (Solicitor for the City of Greensburg Zoning Hearing Board).

Representative Matters

  • Represented a corporate client in structuring, negotiating and documenting an asset purchase transaction for 1,000 acre tract of land, 15 million tons of coal, and coal preparation facilities and equipment.
  • Represented a corporate client in structuring, negotiating and documenting a transaction to develop, finance, construct and operate a $250 million independent power production facility.
  • Represented a corporate client in a complex antitrust litigation action that resulted in the largest buyout of an unbuilt independent power project in Pennsylvania
  • Solicitor for City of Greensburg, Pennsylvania (1992 – 1993).
  • Solicitor for City of Greensburg, Zoning Hearing Board (1987 – 1992).
  • Solicitor for Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania; Treasurer (1975 – 1987).
  • Represented both municipalities and private property owners in zoning and land use matters.
  • Represented corporate and individual clients in commercial, industrial and residential development projects.
  • Represented banking institutions in commercial and residential construction and mortgage financing.
