Formerly law clerk to The Honorable Joseph F. Weis, Jr., The Honorable Carol Los Mansmann, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, The Honorable Maurice B. Cohill, Jr., and The Honorable Alan N. Bloch, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Ms. Heilman concentrates her practice in commercial litigation, employment litigation and alternate dispute resolution. She has participated as a member of the faculty in a number of Pennsylvania Bar Institute programs, including “The Trial of a Sexual Harassment Case” and “The Trial of a Disability Case.”Nancy's areas of focus include:
- Defending employers in employment litigation cases before federal and state courts
- Representing business clients in general commercial litigation
- Representing plaintiff companies in environmental insurance coverage lawsuits
- Participating in Alternate Dispute Resolution by appointment of U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania as mediator, neutral evaluator and arbitrator
- Serving as coach for Mediation Training sponsored by Federal Bar Association
