Mr. Elliott’s practice covers a wide range of commercial and business litigation, including the representation of directors and officers in shareholder, derivative and class action litigation. These cases involved alleged violations of the securities laws and charges of breach of fiduciary duty. He also represents accounting firms in malpractice and securities fraud actions. He regularly handles complex commercial and antitrust litigation. Mr. Elliott has been listed in Philadelphia Magazine’s “
Pennsylvania Super Lawyers,” and in 2008 was selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers in
America for Commercial Litigation.

Representative Matters- After a six week trial, obtained a defense verdict on behalf of accounting firm accused of fraud and malpractice
- Obtained large award of damages in a fraud/business evaluation case
- Tried numerous broker/dealer actions
- Obtained dismissal of accounting firm in a series of class action securities fraud cases in Michigan
- Defeated class certification and obtained defense verdict in ERISA litigation
- Obtained a large award of damages in an International Chamber of Commerce arbitration held in Paris, France
- Obtained a defense jury verdict in a multi-party price fixing action
