Mr. Soss focuses his practice on representing individuals in a broad range of estate planning, tax and corporate related issues. Mr. Soss provides guidance to clients by combining wealth preservation strategies with their estate planning goals to reach their planning objectives. These techniques include creating revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, and other estate planning vehicles, including family limited partnerships, grantor trusts and limited liability companies. Mr. Soss also serves as a Supply Corps Officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve.
Mr. Soss's areas of concentration include:
- Estate and tax planning
- Probate, trust and guardianship administration and litigation
- Business succession planning for family-owned entities
- Assisting businesses with choice-of-entity planning, business contracts, including the preparation, review and negotiation of employment agreements, lease agreements and shareholder agreements, and corporate transactions
- Representing tax-exempt organizations, including private foundations, in their organization and operation
