Ana María is an Associate in the Immigration Group where she focuses on employment-based immigration, including temporary and permanent visas, family-based immigration and naturalization.
Experience
Prior to starting her practice at Cohen & Grigsby, Ana María was an Associate at Jones Day from 2002 to 2006. She worked as a legislative programs officer for the U.S. Department of State in the summer of 2000.
She was a legal fellow at the Center for Justice and International Law in 1999 and was a fellow in 1996 at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.

Ana María, who is fluent in Spanish, is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Hispanic Attorneys Committee of the Allegheny County Bar Association and The Hispanic Center. She served as regional vice president for the Hispanic National Bar Association in 2003-2004.
