Mr. Taxay is a business and real estate lawyer.  As chair of Cohen & Grigsby’s Real Estate Group, he regularly represents clients in connection with the acquisition, sale, development, leasing and financing of office, commercial, retail, residential, and industrial properties.  Mr. Taxay also represents businesses in mergers and acquisitions, debt financing transactions and general business and transactional matters.

• Representation of Sports and Exhibition Authority of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County in connection with development, construction, leasing and financing matters related to Heinz Field.
• Representation of Pittsburgh-based financial institution in connection with acquisition, structuring, tax-increment financing and redevelopment of property for mixed use high-rise development in downtown Pittsburgh including retail, office, hotel and residential uses.
• Representation of hotel developer in connection with development, financing and management of hotel property.
• Negotiation of many of the largest leases for office, retail and industrial space in the Greater Pittsburgh area.
• Representation of regional developer in connection with the acquisition, development and leasing of numerous urban and suburban shopping centers.
