Jon is a Director of the firm and Chair of the Estates and Trusts Group. He has nearly three decades of experience in estate planning and administration, taxation and charitable giving.  He helps individuals develop strategies to meet their income, gift, estate and charitable planning goals.  

Experience

Jon has handled scores of estate and trust administrations and the resolution of various tax and non-tax issues that occur during the administration of estates and trusts.  He has counseled many clients regarding charitable planning and the development of strategies to reduce federal and state taxes in lifetime transactions and at death.

Additional Roles

He is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Estate Planning Council.

He is a frequent speaker and moderator for seminars about estate and tax planning.

Jon is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.  He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for estates and trusts and in Pennsylvania Super Lawyers.
